At the time of my fall, I was wearing shorts with nothing between the pavement and me but my first and only pair of thigh high Sigvaris compression stockings. When I got up and cleaned myself up, fearing the worse to my stockings, not only did the Sigvaris stockings save my knees from any injury, the stockings endured the fall without harm; no runs, no holes, no indication what-so-ever of abnormal wear and tear.
