When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

How to Take Length Measurements
Length measurements should be taken at each circumference. It is recommended that you mark the leg with a non-permanent, non-toxic marker at each circumference measurement made.

This is a very versatile lower leg and foot garment and is suggested for patients who are capable of pulling on a compression sock but need the safety and comfort of a non-skid, flat sole garment. It provides traction for those patients who self-propel themselves in their wheelchairs and provides comfortable compression to manage lower leg edema and fibrosis. This would be a nice boot for air travel when leg and foot edema are problematic for the patient.
